I can't stop adding pictures!

Here's one of those delectable leaves I was talking about!

Mommy didn't know that I'd be almost walking at 9 1/2 months of age, so she bought me these really cozy, fuzzy, and unfortunately slippery socks. This is one of our only family photos taken in Ethiopia.

They say I make the cutest faces!!!
Yes, we were THIS CLOSE to this huge lion. It was amazing. I don't even have a telephoto lens. I was probably 3 feet away from him (the photo was taken thru the fence.) These are the majestic Abyssinian lions.. they have a black mane. We heard them roaring, and it was truly haunting and ferocious! It echoed and reverberated more than we could have imagined.

Yo, wassup dawgs, I'm just rollin' with my homies through the hood. Mommy made sure that there were no Crips or Bloods in Ethiopia, then she let me wear this supa cool blue skull cap.

These are the cutest pictures. Reece has a killer smile...too cute! I was wondering...did you stay in the apartment or house that Gladney talks about in the travel info. they send? We were thinking about staying in one of those too instead of a hotel. If you have a minute (I know that computer minutes are limited with a little one)would you email me or post a comment on our blog and let me know what you thought about it and how it worked out for you. Did they have a baby bed for the baby? Was there some way to do laundry?

Thank you so much,

As for the lions, that place madwe me incredibly sad and then angry- all that green area that could be fenced and where were these majestic beasts? In a round, concrete JAIL...

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! What a wonderful blog. I am in a bible study with your sister in MN, and have been following your blog. We have enjoyed your updates and rejoice with you as you bring home your new baby boy! Your insight is powerful and we take much of what you say to heart as we begin our process to adopt a little boy from Ethiopia in December. Thanks again. We will continue to keep you all in our prayers.
